Today in history

Today in history German Soldiers launched a offensive to take control of Oil Fields in Stalingrad and one other city in Russia.

That today in history is from 1942.

Thats all for now,

Today in history

Today in history Adolf Hitler surveyed many sites in Paris which was then occupied by the German army.

That was  a boring day in history but that doesn’t matter.

Thats all for now.

Yesterday Marked the 66th Anniversary of D-Day

33,000 men landed on the beaches of Normandy on that day.

Canadians.

British.

American.

All standing together to break the rule of Nazi Germany.

These men jumped off little boats onto beaches where their dead and dying comrades and friends lay, they jumped into machine gunfire from the Germans, These men were heroes.

That is why we must remember these heroes!

Because they are the people that helped make our world great today!

We will always remember them.

Thats all for now.
